Birth of an Emperor Video

A few days ago the woodmen cut down his sallows but I was able to rescue him (for an emperor he was!) and made space for him in my living room.

Showing wry wit and irony, my Emperor was born yesterday, on Bastille day! I waited all day while he coloured up, but nipped out in the afternoon for an hour, leaving a video camera to keep an eye on him.
