From Ashley Whitlock

Ive just spent quite a successful week Emperoring in my home county, and the following results have been thus far
12 July: Abbotts Wood Inclosure (1) male
13 July: Havant Thicket (0) drew a blank here, but they were seen in 2012, plenty of time for these to appear here.
13 July: Southleigh Forest (3) males two seen fighting and driving one male off of a large oak on a Assembly point.
14 July: Whiteley Pastures (1) male seen oak edging but more obviously here the oppressive heat and Horse flies took its toll!
15 July: West Wood (4) males at least, reported yesterday with one on my boot!
Today 16 July: Straits Inclosure (9) males many oak edging and sallow searching several doing it in pairs is this called a pincer movement? Abbotts Wood Inclosure (10) several males oak edging and sallow searching in pairs again. Goose Green Assembly point (4) two lots of two seen chasing each other, Alice Holt Forest One site (2) males again very slow here not much action. and one across the road at Abbotts Wood High Point. Good week must be one of the best weeks for Emperoring weather wise.
